Working Together to Support Learning
Parents are encouraged to discuss their child’s progress with their keyworker; their views and comments are valued by staff. Information provided by the parents about their child’s home life, experiences and overall development is vital as it enables staff to ensure that we meet each child’s individual needs while complimenting and extending their knowledge which the child has gained at home.
Parental Partnership
Our Aims
- To make all parents and families feel welcome at the centre.
- To respect each parent as an individual.
- To encourage parents to take an active interest in the life of the centre.
- To foster mutual understanding and trust between parents and staff.
Working With You
All centre staff are committed to working with you and your child to ensure experiences of The Jimmy Dunnachie Family Learning Centre are positive and reflect requirements.
We are committed to keeping you informed about your child’s day and progress at the centre.
Our centre upholds an open-door policy and should there be any problems or difficulties which you would like to discuss privately, we will listen and offer what advice or help we can.
